Snap To Recipe helps users create recipe ideas from photos, uploaded images, typed ingredients, or spoken ingredient lists. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses, why it is used, and how users can contact us.
Snap To Recipe may collect or process account information such as your email address and basic Google sign-in profile information when you sign in. The app may also process ingredient text, uploaded images, camera photos, speech input, recipe history, favorites, settings, language preference, subscription status, usage limits, feedback, and app interaction data needed to provide the service.
The app may request access to your camera, photo library, and microphone so you can scan ingredients, upload ingredient images, or speak ingredients into the app. These permissions are used only to provide the features you choose to use.
Ingredient images, ingredient text, preferences, and recipe requests may be sent to AI services to identify ingredients, generate recipe ideas, translate content, and create dish previews. AI-generated recipes and translations may require user verification, especially for allergies, dietary restrictions, cooking temperatures, and food safety.
The free tier may show ads. Advertising providers may collect identifiers and device or usage information as needed to deliver, measure, and improve ads. If you purchase a premium subscription, purchase status and related transaction information may be processed by Google Play and subscription service providers.
Information is used to provide app features, authenticate users, generate recipes, save preferences, manage usage limits, support subscriptions, show ads to free users, improve app reliability, respond to feedback, and comply with applicable requirements.
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers used by the app, including authentication, database, AI, advertising, analytics, app distribution, and payment/subscription providers.
Some data is stored locally on your device. Some account, profile, subscription, feedback, and app usage data may be stored in cloud services. Users may contact us to request deletion of account-related data where applicable.
To request deletion of your Snap To Recipe account and associated account data, email snap2recipeapp@gmail.com from the Google account email used to sign in to the app. Use the subject line "Snap To Recipe Account Deletion Request".
Account deletion requests may delete account profile data, saved app preferences, usage records, feedback, recipe history or favorites stored in cloud services, and other account-linked app records where applicable. Some records may be kept temporarily where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, subscription/payment records, backup retention, or dispute resolution.
You may also request deletion of some app data without deleting your entire account by emailing the same address and describing the specific data you want removed.
Snap To Recipe is not intended for children. The app is currently targeted to users who are 18 years of age or older.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
